Brashear hosted Linn County Tuesday for their home opener. Brashear got into trouble early as Linn County scored 7 runs in the 2nd inning. Brashear didn't give up and clawed their way back into the game and went on to win by a final score of 14-9. Austin Peterson hit a grand slam, a double, and a single for the Tigers with Jace Snelling having a home run and a single, and Avery Zentz also homering. Brandon Jochimsen had a pair of singles, Carson Erwin had a single and a double, Jack Reeves and Lane Stutsman singled, and Garrett Housman had a double. Carson Erwin, Jack Reeves, and Garrett Housman pitched for Brashear.
